Families agree this a great way to enjoy the outdoors together, after recent renovations spruced Laurel Acres up, and added an additional play area for kids (double the fun!). It’s also dog friendly and has a large lake with with paths for all your fresh air needs. Their open field area provides space for the more sporty amount us, or just freedom to run and jump while you soak in the sun-rays. The grills and gazebos boost the Laurel Acres Park ratings as well.
Memorial Park is an outdoor space for all ages. The large playground is fenced all the way around, giving parents and guardians security to let their kids run with their imagination. The padded floor adds additional safety and a lot less splinters as mulch can cause. Visitors with and without little tagalongs appreciate the covered seated area, whether for just a rest in the shade or a relaxing way to spend the time as their young ones play. Many photographers and bird watchers also find their joys fulfilled while traversing the well-loved paths. Black Run Preserve is a great way to become one with New Jersey’s gorgeous nature scene.

In total the park covers over 340 acres of space, and is full of room to move and breathe in the natural restoratives: sunshine and lake-cooled breeze. But this park’s offerings don’t stop there! Bike paths and walking trails give visitors a great way to see the natural landscape. Cooper River is also dog friendly, so both human and fur babies are welcome to come and play.
