Marlton Parks

Marlton, New Jersey is a great location for family life and positivity. One of the best things about our town is easy access to several beautiful parks, which are a timeless source of fun for all ages.

With top ratings among our local parks, Laurel Acres Park is an outdoor space that is just lovely. Families agree this a great way to enjoy the outdoors together, after recent renovations spruced Laurel Acres up, and added an additional play area for kids (double the fun!). It’s also dog friendly and has a large lake with with paths for all your fresh air needs. Their open field area provides space for the more sporty amount us, or just freedom to run and jump while you soak in the sun-rays. The grills and gazebos boost the Laurel Acres Park ratings as well.

Memorial Park is an outdoor space for all ages. The large playground is fenced all the way around, giving parents and guardians security to let their kids run with their imagination. The padded floor adds additional safety and a lot less splinters as mulch can cause. Visitors with and without little tagalongs appreciate the covered seated area, whether for just a rest in the shade or a relaxing way to spend the time as their young ones play. Memorial Park is also animal friendly. One other huge plus for this park is the well kept open field area, making it top notch for outdoor fun of all sorts.

While the parks above may tie for family outings and outdoor fun, Black Run Preserve is probably the winner for nature-lovers everywhere. This expansive natural preservation is full of running paths, walking trails, and more. It is perfect for all things outdoor adventure, from hardcore mountain biking to gentle strolls for fresh air. Many photographers and bird watchers also find their joys fulfilled while traversing the well-loved paths. Black Run Preserve is a great way to become one with New Jersey’s gorgeous nature scene.

On the other side of the nature-adventure spectrum, Cooper River Park is best loved for its incredible waters, perfect for kayaks, canoes… or anything else you like to splash around with. In total the park covers over 340 acres of space, and is full of room to move and breathe in the natural restoratives: sunshine and lake-cooled breeze. But this park’s offerings don’t stop there! Bike paths and walking trails give visitors a great way to see the natural landscape. Cooper River is also dog friendly, so both human and fur babies are welcome to come and play. Their playground spaces are also well loved and very well kept. Gazebo areas are available for a picnic lunch or reservation in the case of a larger celebration. This park is also home to the Jack Curtis stadium.
